Once you search his body you'll hear a voice message providing you with the code for the door: 1243. "Once you reach the end of the hallway you should be really close to the marker on your map inside a small room to the east you'll find a body of a scientist. I've seen pplz on /r/stalker say that you must find the code exactly like in SoC(if i remember right it's on dead scientists) or otherwise even if you googled it up the door won't work even if the doorcode is good. If I type "Call of Chernobyl X-18 door code" then all I get is stuff about Shadow of Chernobyl. I've walked around in X-18 forever smashing open boxes, holding F and walking past all the lockers, checking every dead body (including the dead ecologist), but I still can't find it and I can't find any info online about where to get it. I know in Shadow of Chernobyl you have to find the code first on some dead body that it gives you a waypoint to (I think the dead ecologist) and its 1243 or something and if you don't find the code first the door won't open no matter what you enter.
